Michelle's four 4's post

Today in Math class, Mr.Harbeck and Mr. Bache told us to explain " Why is 4/4 + 4/4 = 2 and 4 ÷4 + 4 ÷4 = 2 the same ? "

I think they are the same because 4/4 is one whole and if you add another whole (4/4) , it will be equal to two wholes. Also, 4
÷ 4 = 1 and if you do that again and add the two sums together, you will get 2. To me they are the same thing, but with different signs.

And I think the " line " in a fraction that separates the numerator from the denominator also means divide, just written differently.

So its the same thing , in My opinion.

That was good Michelle. HeHHahah for some reason when i read the first part, i got confused of what you typed. I had to read it like 10 times over to understand what you were saying, but thats my problem. Nice job on explaining your answer. Oh why did you put a capital on the m in " My opinion" I'M TYPING TOO MUCH SO I WILL STOP. GOOD JOB MICHELLE.
