Vanessa's Scribe Post for October 5 2009

Heeey everyone... The homework that Harbeck and Backe gave us for today is pretty simple.

Here's the question...

How is
4/4+4/4=2 the same as 4÷4+4÷4=2 ?

As you can see, 4/4 is a fraction and since theres 4 pieces out of four pieces, it equals 1 whole. The dividing line, " / " is the same as
the dividing sign, " ÷ " its just that they are different symbols representing the same information.

*** IF MY SCRIBE A LITTLE CONFUSING, I APOLOGIZE BECAUSE AS YOU CAN SEE ITS ALMOST 1:00 AM. ***
