R.HARBEC AND MR.BACKEY QUESTION: WHY IS 4/4 THE SAME AS 4 ÷ 4 ?


I think that they are the same because THE / SIGN is like the exact same thing as ÷. They both mean the same thing, but they are still different symbols. It is most likely that you will see the symbol " / " when you are dealing with fractions, and you will see the other dividing sign when your just doing normal division like for example 8 ÷ 5.


THEY MEAN THE SAME THING THEY JUST USE DIFFRENT SYMBOLS
