ratio:: measures two different quantities measured in the same units

DIFFERENCE(S):
- the difference is that rate compares two quantities when ratio measures two different quantities in the SAME units.

QUESTION # 1 ::
What would the ingredients look like if you were to serve 10 people ? Show your work.

SOLUTION :: All you have to do is multiply the numbers by 2.5 .

QUESTION # 2 ::

What would the ingredients look like for 1 person ? Show your work .

Solution ::

Since you already calculated the ingredients for 10 people, all you have to do is divide the answers by 10.
