How I stopped an Alien Invasion using Proportion

One day me and my friends were playing at school, then suddenly we hear a big crash . We decided to go around the corner to see what made the big crash . We get around the corner only to see a weird and big kind of spaceship . As little unknown things come out of the ship, we are both curious yet scared of what they want with us . Little did we know, they were a group of aliens, and they seem to want something . They said that they will destroy our planet unless we solve three proportion questions . But there is one condition, we must answer all questions correctly. Or else our planet will be destroyed, ruined or whole life . So the aliens gave us proportion questions to solve .

So we start our our mission with the first question :
Delia was paid $35 for 5h of babysitting. How much should she receive for 3 h? Use a unit rate to find the answer.
Our first answer was that she should recieve $21 for 3 hours .

The aliens gave us another question and it was :
David can saw a log into three pieces in 7 min. If he continues sawing at a constant rate, how long will it take him to saw a similar log into six pieces?
Our second answer was that it will take him 14 minutes to saw a similar log into six pieces .

And our final question was :
A small gear turns 18 times in the same time that a large gear turns 4 times. How
many times will the large gear turn if the small gear turns 54 times ?
Draw a diagram to help set up a proportion and solve the problem.

Our final answer was that the large gear will turn 12 times if the small gear turns 54 times .

So when we answered the questions, the aliens checked if we answered them correctly. And we did so they had nothing else to do but leave our planet. Once they left, we all celebrated, because we saved the world using MATH .
