Question 12.
(You add the two legs to find the hypotenuse,or the Pythagorean Relationship?)
a) 20 cm squared + 32 cm squared = 52 cm squared
b) 100 mm squared + 576 mm squared = 676 mm squared
c) 90 cm squared - 25 cm squared = 65 cm squared (You minus the 2 numbers because your trying to find the other "leg" instead of finding the hypotenuse. I know this because the opposite side of the right angle is the hypotenuse, not the leg.)
d) 12 cm squared + 12 cm squared = 24 cm squared
