Math Book Page 23 Question 4


4. Samantha recorded the temperture on a hot day. She displyed the data in a graph.


A) Explain how this graph could be misleading.
This graph is misleading because the Y-axis contains a break.



B) What conclusion does the graph suggest about the changes in tempearature?
The graph suggests that the temperature increased significantly between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.

C) How should the graph be redrawn to make the data clearer?
The graph should be redrawn with a consistent scale on the y-axis from 0 C to 32 C without a break.

Easy to understand. You added colours and pictures. You explained it really well. MAYBE, you can make the questions a font size bigger? So, it would stand out even more?
