4.99 + 4.99 + 3.99 + 19.99 = 33.96
( add all the items together, to get the total )
33.96 x 1.12 = 38.04
Then you find 12% of 33.96. I did it the easier way and added the taxes and the 100 % together.
The reduced price in the second week is $ 38.25 .
For example if the item cost $35 plus tax. ( 12 % )
You could just combine the 100and the % 12 % to get 112 %. Then divide by 100 to get 1.12.
After : 35 x 1.12 = $39.20
( That's the easiest way I'd do it .)
