RECTANGULAR PRISM
FRONT: TOP: SIDE:
a=lxw a=lxw a=lxw
a=4x4 a=4x2 a=4x2
a=8cm2 a=8cm2 a=8cm2
Now since you have the caculations for each side, you need to caculate the TSA.
TSA=FRONT+FRONT+TOP+TOP+SIDE+SIDE
= 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 + 16 + 16
= 64 cm2
TRIANGULAR PRISM
a= b x h / 2
a= 7 x 5 / 2
a= 17.5 cm2
a= l x w
a= 5 x 2
a= 10 cm2
a= l x w
a= 2 x 6
a= 12 cm2
a= l x w
a= 2 x 6
a= 12 cm2
Since you have all the caculations for this rectangular prism, caculate the TSA.
TSA= 10 + 12 + 12 + 17.5 + 17.5
=69cm2
CYLINDER
C=pi x diameter
C=3.14x4
C=12.56
area=pi r2
area=3.14x2x2
area=12.56
lxw=area
12.56x12.56=area
157.75=area
Now you caculate the TSA for this cylinder. If you don't know what TSA stands for, it stands for Total Surface Area.
TSA=Circle+Circle+Rectangle
=12.56+12.56+157.75
= 182.87cm2
