Two days before the school dance a guy named Devin had to finish his homework to go to it but just when he got stuck on 3 promblems he needed help and he didnt know what to do but just when he was about to give up. A space ship comes from the sky and an alien comes out.Then just when Devin goes outside the alien sayed ''Theres no more oil in the ship will you help me'' and Devin sayed ''sure I will help you but you got too help me with 3 promblems'' the alien sayed ok.

Answer:David will take 13.8 minutes for 6 pieces.

After Devin gets the answers from the alien the alien for some reason died because he couldnt handle the earths air.

How I Stopped An Alien Invasion Using Proportion

One day I was walking around school, and I saw people crowding up the hallways in a circle. So I ran and shoved people out of the way. As I got to the front, I noticed a strange vehicle parked right there, and a whole in the ceiling. I was confused with what was going on until I saw these strange purple monsters. Turns out they were aliens. They then walked up to me and made me answer 3 proportion questions or else they wouldn't leave. So I guess I had no choice but to do it.

The first problem they asked me was-

Delia was paid $35 for 5 h of babysitting. How much should she receive for 3 h? Use a unit rate to find the answer.
I replied " Delia should receive $21 for 3 h of babysitting " They made me show my work so here it was.

The second problem they asked me was-

David can saw a log into three pieces in 7 minutes. If he continues sawing at a constant rate, how long will it take him to saw a similar log into 6 pieces?
My answer was " It would take him 14 mn to saw 6 pieces. " So here is my work again

The third problem they asked me was-

Last night 30 cm of snow fell in 6 hours. If it continues snowing at the same rate, how long will it takefor 45 cm of snow to fall ?
The final answer was " It would take 9 hours for 45 cm of snow to fall " Heres what I did.

How I stopped an Alien Invasion using Proportion !

When Aldrine, Emmanuel, Josh, Argie and I was going long driving to California, we got stopped by very scary aliens in the mountains of Utah.

 They said in some sort of language that they wouldn't let us through unless we would answer 3 questions. I don't know how but Emmanuel knew what they were talking about. Thats how I know what they said.

answer : 1 object / 2kg .

Was It Just All A Dream or Did I Just Saved The World ?

It was night time and I was about to go to sleep when a BIG green light flashed before my eyes just outside my opened window I ran to see what it was and the next thing I knew I in a box with a lot of people-- MY FRIENDS ! They had told me the whole story about how were in a spaceship and that our so called friend Elijah betrayed us and told the aliens that humans were bad and how they are going to destroy the aliens. We had to do something but what, we were just kids. A couple of minutes later a HUGE green blob came and had told just we are all boomed but i had to do something and Said " We are not going to harm your people and that Elijah is lying ! " It replied saying " That's exactly what Elijah said to us that you were going to say ! " We were all scared and didn't know what to do but to begged. I said " Give us humans a chance ! What can we do to prove Elijah wrong !?! " It replied with " Well .. there is something. You could answer three questions and if you get one JUST one wrong we will destroy you and your friends FIRST !

The First question was :

a) two pens cost 94 cents
answer : 47 cents

b) Four blocks stacked one on top of the other are 24 cm high.
answer : One block is 24 cm high

c) On a map, 1cm represents 25 km. Kendra wants to ride her bike 160 km. This distance is 6.4 cm on the map.









It started getting mad " You are smart young one but you will not get this last question right so just give up now! " and I replied " Bring It On ! "

He screamed " NOOOO !! " He ran through the door we all heard " BOOM " sound .. a few minutes later he came back saying how sorry he was for believe Elijah and how it killed her because it believed her. The Alien was so sorry for how it believed her. It EXPLODED and at the blink of my eyes i was where I started. Now here i am wondering was it just all a dream?

How I DESTROYED ALL THE ALIENS IN THE WORLD WITH PROPORTION !!!

Yesterday at 12 in the morning I came back from the club and I heard a big explosion. I went to see and check it out, and I saw 3 big green ugly aliens with 9 legs. They said " Hey you, I will kill your family and I will destroy the planet because I hate humans 4 life" Then I was like " NO you will not, I will kill all the aliens in the world because I hate ugly looking people" The aliens were offended and they took out their machine guns. I was now scared and said " Ok ok, I'm sorry, what can I do for you to not destroy the planet" The three aliens just wanted 3 proportional questions for me to answer.

" So Mr. Tough Punk if a boy named David could saw a log into 3 pieces in 7 minutes, how long will it take for him to saw 6 pieces if he continues at the same rate? "



Josh said David will take 14 minutes for him to saw 6 pieces of log.










The ugly alien was impressed, and said well done. I said " Yeah I know well done you stupid ugly green ugly alien" The alien was mad and he shot Josh's foot off. It was okay because Josh was still alive.

The second alien said that it was a fluke answer so Josh got angry and SPIT IN THE 2ND ALIENS FACE. The 2nd alien was about to chop Josh's head off with his 9 legs but if he answered this question he would just leave it :

" YEEE THATS RIGHT ugly piece of craps, y'all get out of my face. " The 3 aliens were wowed and Josh really ticked them off. A few minutes later they left, but as they were rising in their space ship THE ALIENS SHOT JOSH TO DEATH AND DISAPPEARED INTO OUTER SPACE .....


Josh was dead on the floor..... BUT ON THE BRIGHT SIDE HE SAVED THE WORLD FOR ALL HUMANS!!! A day later Josh rose from the dead , and started to live with his G life all over .

When I was at Burger King there was an explosion in the forest



n.There it was, one ugly alien scout. It said "I will call the other aliens and blow up the earth. Here is your chance to stop them give me three math questions and answer them and show your work and upload them on his computer." While I was searching my math text book the S.W.A.T team showed for no reason.


They got destroyed so it really doesn't matter their dead. so when I found my first question it was: Pg 67 Question 4

How I Saved The World From Aliens

Yesterday about at 9 o'clock pm I was going out for a jog until I saw a flash of light around the trees where it was very bushy and dense. So I went to check it out and I found 3 green and black aliens with 8 legs, 2 arms and very slimy skin. Then they started to talk to me and this is what they said, " Hey you, Earthling ... we will destroy and terminate everybody on the planet unless you make 3 proportion questions to see how smart you earthlings are." So I was like yeah no problemo give me a day and you will see how smart we are !!!


So I went home on my computer and got my first question on page 67.

Question 1:
Delia was paid $35 for 5 hours of babysitting. How much should she receive for 3 hours? Use a unit rate to find the answer?
Answer:
First you would divide $35 by 5 to get $7 and 1 hour. Then you multiply both of the numbers by 3 to get $21 and 3 hours. $21/3 hours

Question 2:
David can saw a log into 3 pieces in 7 minutes. If he can continue sawing at a constant rate, how long will it take him to saw a similar log into six pieces?
Answer:
Well you can multiply both the 3 pieces and the 7 minutes by 2 to get 6 pieces and 14 minutes. 6 pieces / 14mins
Another way you can do this is by dividing both the 3 pieces and the 7 minutes by 3 to get 1 piece and 2.33 and then again multiply both the 1 piece and the 2.33 minutes by 6 to get 6 pieces and 14 minutes.

Question 3:
A small gear turns 18 times in the same that a large gear turns 4 times. How many times will the large gear turn if the small gear turns 54 times?
Answer: Well first you can divide 18 by 18 to get 1 and to divide 4 by 18 to get 0.222. Then you multiply the 1 or the small gear by 54 to get 54 and then you multiply the 0.22 by 54 to get 12. (because whatever you do to one side you do it to the other side) So the large gear turns 12 times when the small gear turns 12 times.

Then I went back to the alien and showed him the questions. The alien was very surprised because we made very intelligent questions and even the alien couldn't answer the question. The alien got so mad because he couldn't answer the question that he exploded at his own anger and frustration of not answer my very intelligent question xD.

Power Rangers you have to stop the alien scouts that the evil Snorlax has sent. Go infiltrate thier camp and destroy their communications device by putting 3 proportion question viruses in them. Then eliminate them.

Here are the 3 proportion questions....oh no! I forgot what the answers are. You'll have to answer them when you put them into their system.

Question #1

Delia was paid $35 for 5 hours of babysitting. How much should she recieve for 3 hours? Use a unit rate to find the answer.


Unit rate is when you find the second unit of measurement, which is the hours, and turn that number into one. That's why I divided the number by itself (divide by 5 in the $ side, because what you do to your right you must do to your left). Which got me one. Then I multiply it by the desired amount, which is 3 (multiply by 3 the $7). This should have gotten you, $21 per 3 hours.

Question #2

At an amusement park, a new thrill ride was introduced. It costs $7.50 for 3 rides on the Wild Slider.

a) What is the Wild Slider's unit rate per ride?

Now were trying to find the unit rate, so divide 3 by itself and also divide 7.50 by 3.

b)At this rate, what would it cost for 18 rides on Wild Slider? Determine the answer 2 different ways.

From what the question gave us, we multiply 3 by 6 to get 18 rides and multiply 7.50 to get 45

From the a), we multiply 1 by 18 to get 18 and ,ultiply 2.50 by 18 to get 45.

Question 3

David can saw a log into 3 pieces in 7 minutes. If he continues sawing at a constant rate, how long will it take him to saw a similar log into 6 pieces?

All we need is a partner for 6. We know that 6 belongs in the logs, so we're missing minutes. First we need to find the relationship of 3 and 6. We know that 3 x 2 is 6 so we must do that to the other side to get the minutes for 6 pieces of logs.

And while the other rangers where holding off the scout's lackies, the virus had worked and destroyed the communications device. Now all that's left are the scouts.

The rangers had combined their weapons and blew up the scout's and their lackies.
