FOUR 4s
Today in math class , Mr . Harbeck and Mr . Backe told us to explain why 4/4+4/4 =2 and 4÷4 + 4÷4 =2 are the same .
In my opinion , I think 4/4+4/4 =2 and 4÷4 + 4÷4 =2 are the same because "/" and "÷" are the same sign . For example (4/4 = 1) and (4÷4 = 1) too . It doesn't matter which one you use because its the same thing .
In , fractions 4/4 means your dividing the top number ( numerator ) and the bottom number ( denominator ) .
So the signs are different but they're still the same thing .
